Please read these terms carefully before using AveroNova's platform.

Welcome to AveroNova. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AveroNova’s websites, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by HYPA ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE LABS Limited (doing business as “AveroNova,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our contact details are:

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Who can use AveroNova
1.1 Parent/Guardian account
AveroNova is designed for homeschooling families. A parent or legal guardian (“Parent”) must create the family account and is the contracting party for these Terms.
1.2 Child accounts and authorized users
A Parent may create one or more child logins or profiles (“Child Accounts”) for children in their care (“Child”). Children may use the Service only under Parent supervision and consent, and the Parent is responsible for the Child’s activity on the Service.
1.3 Minimum age and parental consent
AveroNova is intended for learners starting around age 11. If we collect personal information from a child under 13, we will obtain verifiable parental consent (for example, via credit card verification plus email confirmation) before the Child can fully use the Service.
2. Accounts, security, and responsibilities
To create an account, follow these steps: 1. Account accuracy. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and keep it updated. 2. Credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials and for all activity under your account(s). 3. Parent controls. Parent dashboards may allow Parents to view learning progress and certain child activity details (such as recent lesson interactions and learning history). 4. Unauthorized access. Notify us promptly at support@averonova.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. The Service and learning features
AveroNova provides personalized learning experiences and parent management tools. A learner may ask for clarifications during lessons; these lesson interaction records may be stored to provide continuity, personalization, and parent insights. No educational guarantees. We do not guarantee any particular academic outcome, score, or mastery level.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. You will not (and will not allow anyone else to): - Break the law or violate others' rights. - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts. - Interfere with or disrupt the Service (e.g., automated attacks, scraping at harmful rates). - Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or underlying models except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by law. - Upload or transmit malicious code. - Use the Service to exploit or harm minors, or to create content that is illegal, sexually exploitative, or otherwise unsafe. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
5. Subscriptions, billing, and taxes
5.1 Plans and pricing
We offer subscription plans (for example, single student and family plans). Pricing and plan details are displayed at checkout and on our site.
5.2 Merchant of record; payment processors
We use Paddle as our primary checkout and billing provider and may also use Stripe in some cases. Paddle may act as a Merchant of Record and handle tax collection and remittance.
5.3 Taxes are added at checkout
Unless stated otherwise, displayed prices exclude applicable taxes (VAT/GST/sales tax). Taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location and applicable law. Paddle’s MoR model typically calculates and remits these taxes.
5.4 Auto-renewal; cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel through your account settings (if available) or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals; you may retain access through the end of the paid period unless otherwise stated.
6. Refunds (Paddle) + our 30-day money-back guarantee
6.1 Merchant of record & refund processing.
Payments for AveroNova are processed by Paddle (our billing provider and, in many cases, the merchant of record). Any refund, cancellation, or charge-related request is processed through Paddle in line with Paddle’s buyer terms.
6.2 Our 30-day money-back guarantee (no questions asked).
If you're not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your initial purchase and we will approve a full refund of the initial subscription payment. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Paddle. How to request. Email support@averonova.com with the email used at checkout and your order/transaction details. We’ll take care of the refund request with Paddle.
6.3 Statutory consumer rights.
If you are a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days in certain jurisdictions, and the “digital content” exception can apply once access begins. These rights are handled through Paddle and are in addition to this guarantee.
7. Founding Families pricing - locked for life
If you enroll under a “Founding Families” offer, your discount applies as long as your subscription remains active. If canceled and later reactivated, standard rates may apply. We may void the offer for fraud, abuse, chargebacks, or non-payment.
8. Content, data, and permissions
8.1 Your content
“User Content” includes information you submit to the Service (including profile information and lesson inputs). You retain ownership of your User Content.
8.2 License to operate the Service
You grant AveroNova a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, store, and display User Content only as needed to operate and improve the Service for you (e.g., personalization, generating parent insights, support, security).
8.3 Feedback
If you send suggestions or feedback, you grant us the right to use it without restriction or compensation.
9. AI and third-party model providers
Some lesson experiences may rely on third-party AI providers (currently: OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google (Gemini)). We configure these services, where available, to not train on your data and to use limited retention settings; however, those providers may temporarily retain prompts/outputs for abuse monitoring and policy enforcement.
10. Human review and safety moderation
To protect users (especially children) and ensure service quality, we may review lesson interactions and account activity in limited circumstances, such as: - When content is flagged for safety or policy reasons, and/or - As part of sampling for quality assurance.
11. Suspension and termination
By you. You may stop using the Service anytime. By us. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, pose a risk to other users, or for legal/safety reasons.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AVERONOVA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US (OR TO OUR BILLING PROVIDER ON OUR BEHALF) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.
14. Indemnity (Parents/Account holders)
You agree to indemnify and hold AveroNova harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of applicable law, including misuse by Child Accounts you control.
15. Governing law; venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice (e.g., email or in-app notice) and update the “Last updated” date.
